Seedlings is an eco-certified, home-based preschool for children ages 24 months through five years. We are a nurturing, loving environment that promotes the joy of learning about oneself, others, and the environment. All of our activities are child-centered and exploration-based. This ensures that your child will receive the guidance and support that they need in order to learn, while providing them the freedom to explore their world. Each day will have a variety of enriching and stimulating activities for your child, such as gardening, circle-time or painting.
Our main goal at Seedlings is to provide a cozy, home-based preschool that is healthy for both your child and the environment. We are different from other preschools and childcare programs in that we:
-Eat natural, organic meals and snacks
-Have outdoor exploration time at least twice daily
-Have a strong arts program that includes painting and music
-Use naturally-based cleansers whenever possible
-Use only all-natural air fresheners
-Recycle and compost
-Use high quality toys made of wood or recyclable plastic
-Are all-inclusive (we do not discriminate against those with disabilities)
-Offer flexible 5, 4, 3, and 2 day preschool schedules as well as after hours care
Additionally, I am a fully credentialed teacher with many years of experience.
